Liberal Youth Association (LIYA) was found in 2001 in Ankara. It aims the
establishment and recognition of basic principles of liberalism such as market
economy, human rights, justice, peace, tolerance, rule of law etc.
LIYA trusts the features of youth about criticizing every settled and dogmatic
concept, believes in their desires to find out righteousness and encourages
youngs to be active in every platform they involve.
LIYA has a large activity scale. It conducts not only international projects,
organizes seminars and meetings but also publishes a quarterly named Free Line
which is a youth journal completely designed and prepared by students. Free Line
aims to prepare young talents for future intellectual engagements.
LIYA prefers to express itself by using the means of modern era to make heart
its voice instead of mobilizing at streets by slogans.
