We want to express ourselves freely, nothing else...
We, as a group of young who believe in free individuals and the value of
individualism come together in Free Line. We think it carries a special meaning
for our country where every kind of collectivist hegemony causes to feel itself
in every part of life. And the youth is the group who feels this hegemony
excessively. Young are wanted to be taken into a circle of official ideology.
We refute this small circle drawn by the official ideology in the times of
information and communication. We want to look and analyze the world with our
open minds. We want to criticize the things that were taught us as "truths and
we want to know ourselves and the "others" in the light of our criticism and we
want to lock the doors of prejudice and cliches. We wish Turkey to become a
country where the individual creativity and dynamism goes into every area from
economics to arts, from agriculture to tourism, literature to politics.
Free Line is the result of these burning desires.
We want to express ourselves freely, nothing else. Because there is nothing
else that is important than being free.
